So im almost done with all the flat colors and will be moving onto details and adding extra shading here and there but Im not happy with guys clothes color
the far left yellow is the old and the 4th yellow on right is the new color
However I wanna ask what you guys think is best. I wanna get it down right.
My apologies for being ignorant to the context, I'm just passing through and happen to have a "coloring opinion" on this:
The character's facial featured seem coded to be somewhat simple/boring and judging from him carrying his own firewood over a long distance he does not seem to be wealthy. As those are probably his everyday-/work-clothes the gray variant appears the most fitting to me.
Unless of course, I got his character wrong and he is 'secretly fancy' or supposed to stand out very strongly in 'every single scene'. Like the man in the white uniform (very likely Bismarck) in 'this' painting:

The setting is rural japan or chiniese folklore where the mans kindaness turns animals into half breed anime babes.
He uses rope on a tree net to capture food but instead gets babes. atm Im asking what color of clothing would be best suited, and what wouldnt clash with the other girls in the comic. Yellow was my main choice but blends in with his skill in other panels.
I tried a darker yellow but even that im not sure is right. so im asking around for input.

Number 3 or Number 5 for me. The colors blend with the background and seem like a contrast to the whole design.
