Ok, well its been a whole day, and my stupid twtter keeps saying" have reached my data limit" on desktop.

I waited hours now and still nothing. I cant even see the hashtags nor my own page. Its a completly blank site.

I dont wanna say twitter is dead, but I will say, its a wake up call for me.

I still love Newgrounds and will be my main Hub for Now on.

However I want to ask anyone reading this.

If you move away from twitter? What website do you think most of the artists are moving to next? or at least temporarily.

There's Tumblr but you can only post nudity and need to label it as mature (you can't post anything about sex or sex actions at all, not unless it's a smut fanfic). There's also Pixiv, that can be use as a secondary website for later.

thanks But I really really hate tumblr, and the users there, it all changed for the worse after the porn ban. Dont think I will ever go back there

the primary websites for artists to wander through are: devient art, twitter, newgrounds, Instagram, e621 or e926, pixiv, patreon, Tumblr, furaffinity, telegram, different discord servers, webtoons, their own self made websites/youtube/twitch/etsy channels

The closer the website is to the top of the list the more primary the website is and where people have been flocking of late with the mounting and insistent failures of twitter. twitter only made it easy for people to find things that they like to view, newgrounds is in that category 2nd place with devient art needing a little more hunting to find material, e621/e926/devient art/tumblr and furaffinity are on the same level in that category and then the pay to win sites/self made sites are last in the list as they are the depository of pretty much everyone to have their art and try to make money off of their pieces
so, if you are looking for brand reach and to get your name out, hit your primary 3 newgrounds, devient art, furaffinity, keep banging your head on the wall with twitter, and make a secondary account in e621/e926/tumblr for random one off new subscriber +1's

facebook is a hard hit and miss for fur artists, as the site is populated by people that may or may not have their friends and family members openly talking about being a furry but they themselves are hopelessly lost in the fur world... that is what makes the top 3 so valuable as there is a background kind of "hidden from the normal operating day/world" vibe to each which allows them to flourish for those looking to just be themselves

hope this helps :3

thank you. this advice really does help. I suppose Pixiv would be my next gallery as a "just in case shit hits the fan moment"

However I really dont like the fact you need to cencor your art. or at least thats what Ive heard.
e621 is more of a gallery site yeah but not sure if I have to put every single tag myself when I post or if others can add tags later on. that just seems like a lot of work.

All in all thanks for the advice. Ill be sure to make a new account over in those areas soon

If twitter truly is dead to nsfw artists, then its here or pixiv probably
